Just Add by Chandan Masale was conceived as a new-age premium premix range designed to simplify Indian cooking without compromising on taste or authenticity. Backed by Jagdamb Masale, the manufacturing parent company, the brand needed a distinct identity that could stand confidently in a competitive FMCG market. At MAD Design Solutions, we were entrusted with shaping the brand from its foundation to its market launch.

The challenge was to create a premium consumer-facing brand while maintaining a clear connection to its trusted manufacturing parent. The product had to appeal to modern households while preserving the credibility of traditional Indian spices. In addition, the market demanded strong differentiation, clear shelf visibility, and a strategic rollout that could support multiple products under a single cohesive identity.

We began by designing the logo and brand identity for Jagdamb Masale, establishing a strong parent brand. Building on this foundation, we developed the brand strategy for Just Add, positioning it as a premium premix solution for effortless cooking. Our work included in-depth market research, product naming, and a complete packaging design system tailored for retail impact. We further extended the brand through marketing strategy and asset design, ensuring consistency across communication channels. The result was the successful launch of eight premium premix masala products, each unified by a strong visual language and clear market positioning.
