Bhagat Tarachand is a heritage dining destination known for its soulful North Indian flavours and traditional hospitality. Our task at MAD Design Solutions was to create an immersive space identity through wall graphics, conceptual themes, and on-site installation that reflected the restaurant’s rooted culture. The goal was to craft an environment that felt warm, authentic, and visually rich—bringing alive the essence of Indian tradition through design.

The goal was to craft an environment that felt warm, authentic, and visually rich—bringing alive the essence of Indian tradition through design.

The Challenge
Despite its strong culinary legacy, the Bhagat Tarachand project came with a unique spatial challenge because the site was still under construction, making it difficult to visualize the final experience. To communicate our vision clearly, we developed detailed 3D SketchUp walkthroughs and collaborated closely with architects and associated teams throughout the process. The timeline was short and execution had to be fast, yet we maintained design integrity, quality, and the essence of the traditional Indian dining atmosphere we set out to create.

We crafted a holistic space branding experience that brought Bhagat Tarachand’s traditional essence to life. Through a blend of cultural artifacts, 3D cut-outs, the iconic mandala and Ram Mandir elements, along with immersive wall graphics, we shaped an interior that radiates warmth, heritage, and Indian identity. Signages and exterior branding were designed with equal intentionality, ensuring consistency from the first glance to the final dining moment. Beyond the space itself, we developed the brand’s visual assets including menu cards, payment cards, collateral and other restaurant essentials. We further extended our work into marketing, advertising, and brand communication, offering a complete one-stop design solution that strengthened presence, experience, and recall.
